Hello!

My name is Abby, I'm the founder of Natural Art of Play.

I began my early childhood education career in 2010, working a variety of roles in many settings. Ultimately being led to outdoor education, Natural Art of Play opened its doors in 2022. I couldn’t be more excited to take root in my hometown of Salem. Thank you for welcoming my nature school into our community and thank you for your trust and continued partnership in honoring these early years of life and learning!

My philosophy is rooted in play with a commitment to respectful and responsive caregiving, nurturing a community of joyful learners.

Through my years of working with young children, I have seen first-hand the magic of spending time outdoors, the joyful ownership that comes with freely creating art and the unrivaled power of play.

In my free time, you can find me nurturing my own spirit in nature! I fill my days with as much time playing & creating as I can.
